A growing number of research projects are now in different ways linking up to the GMI idea – the latest is the EU-COMPARE project.
According to the GMI Charter independent initiatives and projects may show their association with the GMI platform by using the GMI name and logo in their publicity and fund raising activities, on the minimum conditions:

that the project leader is registered as a member of the Community Network

that the project contributes to aspects of the GMI platform development

that the project is willing to share real time its data and results within the GMI Platform

that the request to use the GMI Logo is approved by the Steering Committee
