Lately there have been quite a lot of activity going on in WG4, Ring trials and quality assurance. Primarily, we have prepared for the launch of the pilot PT including preparation of the PT material, the website, and guidelines and protocols.
We have recently sent out invitations to participate in the pilot PT to a selected number of WG4 members to test the infrastructure, the materials, protocols, website etc. to ensure no unforeseen mistakes occur for the full roll out. The roll out is scheduled for September 2014.
We will make sure to keep GMI members informed about the progress. In addition, we have now drafted the report of the end-user survey. We estimate to have it ready for dissemination in a few weeks. We are currently discussing, if the report should be modified to meet the requirements of a scientific journal. We have scheduled calls to discuss those issues in the coming weeks.
